Hackney Coaches.
A Petition of James Durham, Tho. Cropper, and William Keep, on Behalf of themselves, and other Hackney
Coachmen, licensed by virtue of the late Act of Parliament, was read.

regulating Hackney Coaches.
Resolved, That some Part of what shall arise from the
Licensing of Hackney Coaches, be applied to Chelsea
College.

Carriages for the King.
Sir John Talbot reports from the Committee to whom
the Bill for providing necessary Carriages for his Majesty's
Royal Progress and Removal, was committed, That the
Committee having taken the same into their Consideration, had agreed upon some Amendments to be made,
and a Clause to be added, to the Bill: Which he read
in his Place, and afterwards delivered them in at the
Clerk's Table: Where the Amendments being twice
read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.
The Clause being read a Second time, was likewise
agreed to by the House.
And a Proviso being to be added to the said Bill; and
being twice read; the same was, upon the Question,
agreed to.
Resolved, That the said Clause and Proviso be made
Part of the Bill.
Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, Clause,
and Proviso, be ingrossed.

Reversing Lord Stafford's Attainder.
Earl of Ossory's Estate.
Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent to this House Two
Bills; the One intituled, An Act for reversing the Attainder of William late Viscount Stafford; and another,
intituled, An Act to enable James Lord Butler of Moor
Park, and Earl of Ossory in the Kingdom of Ireland, to
make a Jointure to such Woman as he shall marry: To
which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Hyth Election.
The Clerk of the Crown being called in, produced the
Return for the Town and Port of Hyth in the County of
Kent.
And Mr. Deeds attending in his Place; and giving the
House some Account concerning the said Election;
And it appearing to this House, That Mr. Julius Deeds
was Mayor of the Town and Port of Hythe in the County
of Kent; and that the Precept was directed to the Mayor,
Jurats, and Commonalty of Hythe; and that Mr. Julius
Deeds is returned by Indenture from the Mayor, Jurats,
and Commonalty;
Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That Mr. Julius Deeds
is not duly elected a Baron to serve in this present Parliament, for the Town and Port of Hythe in the County
of Kent.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant
to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for
the Election of a Baron to serve in this present Parliament
for the Town and Port of Hythe in the County of Kent.

A Petition of Thomas Lord Bruce, for Leave to bring

A Petition of Sir Roger Norwich, was read.

Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this
House do take care, that the Footmen and Lacquies do
not come up the Stairs, or stay in the Passage between
the Stairs and Westminster Hall; but that they do attend
and stay in the Hall.
