Attainder of Offenders in the late Treason.

MOTION made by the Earl of Northampton, That, forasmuch as, sithence the committing of the Bill concerning the Attainder of the Offenders in the late Treason, some of the Jesuits and Seminaries named therein have been apprehended; and it is thought likely that, upon Examination taken of them, some more particular Discovery may be made of the said Treason; therefore Stay might be made of any farther Proceeding on that Bill, till the said Examinations might be taken; and, upon some new Motion or Information thereof unto the House, Order might be given for proceeding again accordingly: Which Motion being assented unto, the Time for the Committee (which should have been this Day) was put off, and respited.
