Defective Titles.

SIGNIFICATION given by the Lord Treasurer, one of the Committees on the Bill concerning Defective Titles, that the said Committees, finding that Bill, in respect of some Defects therein, unmeet to proceed, have framed a new Bill, which he presented to the House, intituled, An Act for Confirmation of Letters Patents, to be made upon Composition with the King's Majesty, His Heirs and Successors, during Seven Years. Prima vice lecta.

Confirmation of Lands to Sir Wm. Smith.

The like Signification by the Lord Archbishop of Canterburie, the first of the Committees on Sir William Smithe's Bill, That the said Committee, for some respects, found that Bill not fit to be proceeded in; and therefore had caused a new Bill to be drawn, which he also presented to the House, intituled, An Act for Confirmation of certain Lands to the Warden and College of The Souls of all Faithful People deceased, of Oxon, and of other Lands to Sir William Smith, Knight.

Lesnes and Fants Marshes.

The Bill, intituled, An Act touching the Drowned Marshes of Lesnes and Fants, in the County of Kent, was returned to the House, by the Lord Admiral, the first of the Committees, with Signification, That the said Committees, having considered of that Bill, and heard all Parties whom the same concerned, do think it a fit Bill to be proceeded in.

Establishment of the E. of Derby's Estates.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Establishment and Assurance of divers of the Possessions and Hereditaments of Ferdinando late Earl of Derbie.

And was referred to the Committees on the former Bill of that Title, who were appointed to meet upon Thursday next, the Twenty-sixth of March, by Eight in the Morning, at the Painted Chamber.

Manor and Prehend of Cutton.

The Bill, intituled, An Act to convert the Manor and Prebend of Cutton, in the County of Devon (being a Prebend sine Cura), to the Maintenance of a Preaching Minister, which shall also teach a Free Grammar School, was brought into the House, by the Lord Archbishop of Yorke, the first of the Committees, with certain Amendments, and an Addition thought meet to be added.

Sir Jonathan Trelawny's Lands. Exped.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for further Assurance to the Purchasers of certain Lands, late Sir Jonathan Trelawnie's, Knight, deceased, appointed by Act of Parliament to be sold for Payment of his Debts.
