Supply Bill; granting a present Aid.
MR. Hamden reports from the Committee of the
whole House, the Bill for granting a present Aid
to his Majesty, with the Amendments, Clauses and Provisoes, agreed upon by the Committee: Which he read in
his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered
the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the several
Amendments, Clauses, and Provisoes, were read.
And several of the said Amendments, being again severally read, were upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.
Resolved, That the further Consideration of the said
Report be adjourned, till To-morrow Morning, Eight a
Clock.
Leave of Absence.
Ordered, That Captain Trelawney have Leave to go
into the Country, to attend his Majesty's Service.
Old Sarum Election.
Ordered, That the Cause touching the Election and
Return of Burgesses to serve in this present Parliament
for the Borough of Old Sarum in the County of Wilts,
which was appointed to be heard, at the Bar of this
House, To-morrow Morning at Eight of the Clock, be
put off until Thursday Morning next, at Eight of the
Clock; and be then heard.
