Preventing export of Wool.
A BILL brought in by Mr. Sandford, for the better
Prevention of the Exportation of Wool, was read
the First time.
Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.
Old Sarum Election.
The Cause touching the Election and Return of Burgesses to serve for the Borough of Old Sarum in the
County of Wilts, came on to be heard at the Bar.
And Counsel on both Sides were heard thereupon.
And being withdrawn;
And the Question being put, That there hath been a
due Election of Members to serve for the said Borough of
Old Sarum in the County of Wilts;
It passed in the Negative.
Resolved, That the Right of electing, and returning
Members to serve in Parliament for the Borough of Old
Sarum in the County of Wilts, is in the Freeholders,
being Burgage-holders, of the said Borough.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant
to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for
the Election of Burgesses to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Old Sarum in the County of
Wilts; the former Election being by this House resolved
not to be duly made.
Supply.
The House then, according to the Order of Yesterday,
resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to
take into Consideration his Majesty's Speech.

Clerk's Table.
