Petworth Rectories.
AN ingrossed Bill for settling Advowsons and Rights
of Patronage of the Rectories of Petworth, North
Chappell, Dungton, Clewer, Farnham Royall, Worplesdon, Kirby Overblowes, and Catton, and Vicarage of
Long Horsley, was read the Third time.
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title
be, An Act for dividing the Chapelries of North Chappell and Dungton, from the Parish of Petworth, and
erecting them into new Parishes; and for settling the
Advowsons and Rights of Patronage of the Rectories of
Petworth, North Chappell, Dungton, Clewer, Farnham
Royal, Worplesdon, Kirby Overblowes, and Catton, and
the Vicarage of Long Horsley.
Ordered, That Mr. Boyle do carry the Bill to the
Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
Osbaston's Estate.
An ingrossed Bill for the Sale of the Estate of Francis
Osbaston, for Payment of Ten thousand Pounds Portion
to Mary Osbaston, and of the Arrears of several Annuities
of Two hundred Pounds and Four hundred Pounds per
Annum, chargeable upon the said Estate, was read the
Third time.
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title
be, An Act for the Sale of certain Manors, Messuages,
Lands, and Hereditaments, late the Estate of Francis Osbaston, Esquire, deceased, for the Payment of his Debts
and Legacies, and raising Ten thousand Pounds for the
Portion of Mary Osbaston, his Daughter, chargeable
upon the said Estate.
Ordered, That Mr. Christy do carry the Bill to the
Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
Woolen Manufacture.
A Petition of Susanna Battailhe, and others, Creditors
of the Hamborough Company, on behalf of themselves,
and many poor Widows and Orphans, Creditors of the
said Company, was presented to the House.
Ordered, That the said Petition do lie upon the Table,
until the ingrossed Bill for continuing Part of the Act,
made in the First Year of their Majesties Reign, intituled,
An Act for the better preventing the Exportation of
Wool, and encouraging the Woolen Manufacture of this
Kingdom, be read the Third time.
Leave of Absence.
Ordered, That Sir Thomas Miller have Leave to go
into the Country for a Fortnight, upon extraordinary
Occasions.
Answer to Address.
Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer acquainted the House,
That his Majesty having, according to their Order, been
humbly moved, that Edm. Bohun, the Licenser of the
Press, be removed from his Employment; his Majesty was
graciously pleased to answer, That it should be done.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir Miles Cooke and

Price's Estate.
Mr. Speaker, The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled,
An Act to enable Roger Price to sell some Part of his
Estate for Payment of Portions to the Daughters of John
Price, Esquire, deceased: To which they desire the
Concurrence of this House. And also
Atwood's Estate.
A Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Abell Atwood to
sell some Lands to pay Debts, and make Provision for
younger Children: To which they desire the Concurrence
of this House. And also
Pitt's Estate.
A Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Trustees to sell
Part of the Lands and Tenements of Mathew Pitt,
Esquire, and Robert Pitt, Gentleman, for Payment of
Debts; and to settle the rest of their Lands upon the
said Mathew and Robert and the Wife of the said Robert
and their Issue: To which they desire the Concurrence
of this House.
And then the Messengers withdrew.

Ordered, That the Manuscript of the printed Pamphlet, intituled, "King William and Queen Mary Conquerors, &c." and also the Letter delivered into this
House, upon Saturday last, by Mr. Bentley, be redelivered to the said Mr. Bentley.
Ways and Means.
Resolved, That this House do immediately resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of
further Ways and Means for raising the Supply to be
granted to their Majesties for the carrying on a vigorous
War against France.
And accordingly the House resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Attorney General took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Attorney General reported from the said Committee, That they had made a further Progress in the Matter
to them referred; and had come to several Resolutions;
which they had directed him to report to the House.
Ordered, That the said Report be made To-morrow
Morning at Ten a Clock.
Mr. Attorney General also acquainted the House, That
he was directed by the said Committee to move, That
they may have Leave to sit again.
Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow, after the
said Report is over, resolve itself into a Committee of
the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means
for raising the Supply to be granted to their Majesties
for the carrying on a vigorous War againt France.
