A Message from the House of Commons by Mr.
Kynaston and others:
Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for
supplying a Defect (by the Death of a Trustee) in the
Appointment of Provisions for the Younger Children
of Henry Smalman Esquire deceased; and for making
the said Provision more effectual for such Younger
Children;" to which they desire the Concurrence of
this House.
The House being moved, "That the Resolution of
both Houses of Parliament, agreed to Yesterday, might
be laid before Her Majesty:"
Address relating to scandalous Reports of the Church of England being in Danger, Committee to prepare.
Then, Lords Committees were appointed, to draw an
Address, to be presented to Her Majesty, humbly
to lay before Her Majesty the Resolution of both
Houses of Parliament, in relation to the scandalous
Reports of the Church of England's being in
Danger; and to desire Her Majesty, "That She
would be graciously pleased to take such effectual Measures as Her Majesty shall think fit, for
the preventing and punishing the like scandalous
Reports for the future;" and report to the
House; (videlicet,)
