Fielding et al. versus Lewes.

The House being moved, on the Behalf of Israel Fielding and others, Respondents to the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Lewes, "That a Day may be appointed, "for hearing of the said Appeal:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Fifteenth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon, whereof the said Israel Fielding is to cause Notice to be forthwith given to the Appellant.

Lambe versus Parker.

Upon reading the Petition of Mary Lambe, Respondent to the Petition and Appeal of George Parker Esquire; praying further Time to answer thereunto, she not having timely Notice thereof, and living at a great Distance from London:

It is therefore Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Mary Lambe shall have Time allowed her for answering to the said Appeal, until Friday the One and Thirtieth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Bp. of Landaffe to preach 30th Instant.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Bishop of Landaffe be, and he is hereby, desired to preach before this House, on the Thirtieth Day of this Instant January, in the Abbey Church at Westminster.

Came's Petition, Judges Report upon.

The Lord Keeper acquainted the House, "That Mr. Justice Tracy and Mr. Baron Price were ready to make their Report to this House, relating to the Petition of John Came and Barbara his Wife, when the House will please to receive the same.

Which Report being delivered, and read; it was agreed, that the same should lie on the Table, to be perused by the Lords.

Records in Offices.

Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Method of keeping Records and Public Papers in Offices, and how they are kept; and to consider of Ways to remedy what shall be found to be amiss: Whose Lordships, having considered thereof, and heard such Persons concerning the same as they shall think fit, are afterwards to report their Opinion, from Time to Time, to this House; and the said Committee have hereby Power to appoint a Sub-committee, to consider thereof, and inspect such Offices and Records as they shall think fit; and report to the Grand Committee; (videlicet,)

The House being moved, on the Behalf of Herbert Randolph, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing his Appeal depending in this House, to which William Brockman is Respondent:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Felons, &c. Bill.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for repealing a Clause in an Act, intituled, An Act for the better apprehending, prosecuting, and punishing Felons, that commit Burglaries, Housebreaking, or Robberies, in Shops, Warehouses, Coachhouses, or Stables, or that steal Horses," shall be read a Second Time on Friday next; and that the Judges do then attend.
