Message from H. C. with a Bill; and to remind the Lords of the White Woollen Cloth Exportation, Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Charles Hedges and others:

To put this House in Mind of a Bill, sent up to this House before the Recess, intituled, "An Act for the Exportation of White Woollen Cloth."

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Blathwaite and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing, amending, and enlarging the Highways, between the Top of Kingsdown Hill and the City of Bath; and also several other Highways leading to and through the said City; and for cleansing, paving, and lightening the Streets, and regulating the Chairmen there;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Bath Highways, &c. Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for repairing, amending, and enlarging the Highways between the Top of Kingsdown Hill, and the City of Bath; and also several other Highways, leading to and through the said City; and for cleansing, paving, and lightening the Streets, and regulating the Chairmen there."

Increase of Seamen and manning the Fleet, Bill.

The Order of the Day being read, for the House to be in a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement and Increase of Seamen, and better manning Her Majesty's Fleet."

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee thereupon.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Halifax reported, "That the Committee of the whole House had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Ordered, That the Report be made To-morrow, the First Business.

War in Spain.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the House to be put into a Committee, to consider further of the State of the Nation, in relation to the War in Spain, and the Papers relating thereunto:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee thereupon, on Monday next, at Twelve a Clock; and nothing to intervene.

E. of Exeter, Leave for a Bill.

Upon reading this Day the Report of the Judges, upon the Petition of John Earl of Exeter; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Purposes in the Petition mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, as desired.
