This Day Henry Earl of Lincolne sat first in Parliament, after the Death of Francis Earl of Lincoln his
Father; and took the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, and the Oath of Adjuration; and also made and
subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.
Court of Exchequer in North Britain, Establishment, Bill.
The House (pursuant to Order) was adjourned
during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the
Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling and establishing a
Court of Exchequer in the North Part of Great Britain, called Scotland."
After some Time spent therein the House was resumed.
And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee of the whole House had gone through the said
Bill; and think it fit to pass, with several Amendments."
Ordered, That the Report of the said Amendments
be made To-morrow.

Importation of Cochineal from any Ports in Spain during the present War, and Six Months longer;" to
