Lords take the Oaths.

This Day Henry Earl of Suffolk and Bindon, Bazil Earl of Denbigh, and Charles Earl of Manchester, took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Queen to be attended with the Address.

The Lords Steward acquainted the House, "That, the Lords with White Staves having waited upon Her Majesty, to know what Time Her Majesty would please to appoint, for this House to attend Her with their Address, Her Majesty had been pleased to appoint this Day, at Two a Clock, at Her Palace of St. James's."

The Lord Keeper reported, "That he, with the House, having attended Her Majesty with their Address, Her Majesty was pleased to give the following most gracious Answer; (videlicet,)

Queen's Answer to the Address.

"My Lords,

"I am very glad to find I have your Concurrence in the Resolutions I declared to you; and give you Thanks for this Address, so full of Affection to Me, and Zeal for the Public Good."

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Address of this House, presented to Her Majesty, and Her Majesty's most gracious Answer thereunto, be forthwith printed and published.
