A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Conyers and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for charging and continuing the Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder, and Perry, for the Service of the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eleven;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Order for Recognizances, made a Standing Order.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Order made Yesterday, relating to Recognizances on Appeals, shall be, and is hereby declared to be, a Standing Order of this House, and entered on the Roll, and printed and published, to the End all Persons concerned may take Notice thereof.

Paul and Clitherow versus Sir J. Shaw, in Error.

After hearing Counsel, for William Paul and Christopher Clitherow Esquires, Plaintiffs in a Writ of Error depending in this House, whereunto Sir John Shaw Baronet is Defendant:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed to hear Counsel for the Defendant, on Monday next, at Eleven a Clock; and all the Judges then again to attend.

State of the War in Spain.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, on Wednesday next, at Twelve a Clock, this House shall be put into a Committee again, to take into further Consideration the present State of the War in Spain; and all the Lords summoned to attend.

Ordered, That all the Causes be removed, in Course.
