and Warwickshire charged therewith (being the

the Sale of the Reversion and Inheritance of the
Manor of Morley, in the County of York, together
with a Term of Five Hundred Years therein, decreed
to be sold, for Payment of Debts; and also for exchanging a Fee-farm Rent of the Coheirs of William
late Marquis of Halifax, issuing out of Part of Lessield
Forest, in Rutlandshire, for a Fee-farm Rent of Daniel Earl of Nottingham, issuing out of Hertingfordbury Park, in Hertfordshire; and for settling the same
to such Uses as the said Fee-farm Rent in Rutlandshire was settled."
Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be
committed to the Lords Committees aforenamed; to
meet at the same Time and Place.
Bill to enter into Recognizance for Pillans.
The House being moved, "That Andrew Bell, in
Cornhill, London, Bookseller, may be permitted to
enter into a Recognizance for Thomas Pillans, who
has an Appeal depending in this House, and is residing in Scotland:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Andrew Bell
may enter into a Recognizance for the said Thomas Pillans, as desired.
Queen's Message, with Treaties of Peace, &c.
The Lord Viscount Bolingbroke acquainted the House,
That he had a Message from Her Majesty, under
with France and Spain:
"Her Royal Sign Manual;" which he presented to the
House.
And the same was read, by the Lord Chancellor, as
follows:
"ANNE R.
"As it is the undoubted Prerogative of the Crown
to make Peace and War, I have ratified the Treaties of Peace and Commerce with France, which
had been signed by My Order; and have concluded
a Treaty with Spain, which will be signed at
Utrecht as soon as the Spanish Ministers are arrived
there.
"I determined, from the first, on this extraordinary
Occasion, to communicate these Treaties to My Parliament; and have, therefore, now ordered them to
be laid before this House."
Treaties delivered.
Then the Lord Viscount Bolingbroke, pursuant to
the said Message, by Her Majesty's Command, presented to the House several Treaties, with a Lift thereof; (videlicet,)
1. "Copy of a Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Great Britain and France."
2. "Copy of a Treaty of Commerce and Navigation
between Great Britain and France."
3. "Copy of an Act, declaring the Particulars referred by the 9th Article of the Treaty of Commerce and Navigation between Great Britain and
France, to the Discussion of Commissioners."
4. "Copy of an Act, explaining the general Terms
of the Ninth Article of the Treaty of Commerce
and Navigation between Great Britain and France,
relating to the Four Species excepted out of the Tariff of 1664."
5. "Copy of a Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Great Britain and Spain."
And Translations of the several Treaties and Acts
aforementioned.
And the Translation of the Treaty of Peace and
Friendship between Great Britain and France, were
read.
Ordered, That the Residue of the said Treaties and Acts be read on Monday, at Eleven a Clock.
