L. Dudley's Andrews's Arrest.
UPON the Reading of the Petition of William Andrews (Servant to the Right Honourable the Lord
Dudley), complaining of Robert Porter, for arresting
him, contrary to the Privileges of this House; and
upon the Testimony of Edward Colemore, taken here
upon Oath, That the said Porter did know him the said
Andrews to be the Lord Dudleyes Man, and yet caused
the said Arrest to be made; it is Ordered, That the
Serjeant at Arms shall cause the said Robert Porter to
be brought before their Lordships, to answer his High
Contempt herein; and that Wylliam Andrews shall then
attend, and bring his Witnesses to prove the same.
Lady Purbeck's Privilege.
Richard Stukeley is committed to The Fleet, during Pleasure, for procuring the Attachment of the
Lady Purbeck's Coach-horses, which he formerly denied at the Bar, and was this Day proved by the Testimony of Maddox, Gillett, and
Barrel, upon their Oaths here at the Bar.
Joseph Cunningham was also brought to the Bar, to
answer his Arrest of the said Lady Purbecke; and it
appearing to the House, by an Answer made by the
Lady Purbecke to Cunningham's Petition to her, that he
intended to arrest another, and as soon as he knew her to
be the Lady Purbecke, he desisted; he the said Cunningham was dismissed, being first warned to be more careful hereafter of the Privileges of this House.

the Manor of Barrington, and other Lands in Barrington, and elsewhere, within the County of Somersett,
being the Inheritance of Arthure Farewell, an Infant,
and in Ward to His Majesty.
Put to the Question, and generally assented to,
and Exped.
The Lord Treasurer delivered a Message from the
King, in hæc verba: videlicet,
Message from the King, touching the E. of Arundell's Commitment.
"Whereas, upon a Motion made by one of your
Lordships, the Lord Keeper did Yesterday deliver
unto your Lordships a Message from His Majesty,
That the Earl of Arundell was restrained for a Misdemeanor, which was personal to His Majesty, and
lay in the proper Knowledge of His Majesty; and
had no Relation to Matters of Parliament;
"His Majesty hath now commanded me to signify
to your Lordships that he doth avow the Message, in
fort as it was delivered, to have been done punctually according to His Majesty's own Direction; and
He knoweth that He hath therein done justly, and
not diminished the Privilege of that House."
And, because the Committee appointed Yesterday to
search for Precedents, etc. had not yet made any Report
to the House, therefore the Decision of this Business
was suspended for this Time.
