Debate concerning the Earl of Surrey's Precedency.

Hodie, orta contentione inter Comites pro locis suis et preeminentiis sedendi in Parliamento, precipue pro loco Thome Comitis Surrey, qui et sedendi in Parliamento, et extra Parliamentum incedendi, preeminentie locum sibi vindicabat, eo quod effet Primogenitus Ducis Norfolchie; ob eam causam Thomas, Garter Regis Regum Armorum, coram Dominis evocatus, ostendit Libros suos, Insignia veterum Nobilium ac aliorum Procerum hujus Regni continentes. De Sedibus tamen, five locis fingulorum sedendi in Camera Parliamenti, retulit se nihil certi comperisse.
