THIS Day, by Order and Consent of the whole House, were appointed to confer with such a Number of the Lower House, as should please the said House to appoint, for the more speedy and better Direction of them in the great Matter touching the Queen of Scots, these Lords, whose Names hereafter followeth: videlicet,

Committee named and appointed to meet in the Star-Chamber, touching the Queen of Scots.

The Archbishops of Cantorburie and Yorck, the Earls of Oxford, Kent, Worcetre, Sussex, Warwyke, Bedforde, Leycestre, and Essex, the Bishops of London, Winchestre, Elye, Lyncolne, and Rochestre, the Lords Chamberlain, Burleigh, Graye, Windesor, Wentworthe, Northe, and Chandos. The Place for them to meet in was appointed the Star-Chamber, at Eight of the Clock in the Morning, the next Day.

Preserving Woods, &c.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, for the Preservation of Woods and Timber, que commissa est Archiepiscopo Eboracen. Comitibus Lyncoln, Sussex, et Leycestr, Episcopis Elien. Wigorn. et Meneven. et Dominis Howard, Camerario, Burleighe, Windesor, Wentworthe, Paget, Chandos, et Buckherst, et Justiciario Southcot, et Justiciario Weston.
