Royal prohibn. 23 Oct. against persons disturbing peaceful possession of preb. and provostship (ibid. p. 285). Haselscawe appears to have retained possession, occ. 24 Feb. 1321 (Reg. Drokensford p. 200).

Gerard de Sudbury ?-1332.
Hillum occ. as preb. 16 Sept. 1330 (CPR. 1330-1334 p. 6). Estate ratif. 31 Oct. (ibid. p. 14). Sudbury claimed preb. by virtue of prov. but unable to obtain possession, appeal to curia by both parties, Sudbury judged to be lawful claimant, but d. before 6 July 1332 without gaining possession (CPL. 11 374).
