Person sent for.

SKYNNER to be sent for, for procuring Process for arresting Sir Edw. Denny's Man, if not in the Warant already.

Prisoner discharged, &c.

Mr. Burgesse, upon his Submission now made, and Promise to answer, to be delivered out of the Tower; and he to be enjoined to attend the Committee de die in diem, till he be examined, and the further Pleasure of the House known : - To meet at Five Clock this Afternoon.

Statutes.

The Committee, for Repeal of Statutes, to meet Tomorrow, Three Clock, in the Treasury Chamber.

Form of Subscription.

Sir H. Martyn and Dr. Eden to bring to the Committee, this Afternoon, appointed to consider of the Books of Common Prayer, the Form of the Subscription now used and required.

Petition of Right.

Upon Question, the House resolved into a grand Committee, to consider of the Addition propounded by the Lords, together with the Reasons delivered by the Lords for it , and to strengthen our Reasons against the Addition , and to consider, what is fittest thereupon to be done further. Mr. Serjeant Hoskins in the Chair.

Members not to go out, &c.

Ordered, That no Man shall, during the Debate by this Committee, go out, without Leave of the Committee; and, that the Serjeant shall stand without, and suffer no Man to go out, that hath not Leave of the Committee ; and, that no Member of the House stand in the Entry.

Bills from Lords.

Mr. Serjeant Crew and Mr. Serjeant Berkeley bring from the Lords Two Bills : 1. An Act for the further Reformation of sundry Abuses committed on the Lord's Day, commonly called Sunday. 2. An Act for Confirmation of Letters Patents, made by our late sovereign Lord King James, to John Earl of Bristoll, by the Name of John Digby, Knight. -

Conference.

And a Message; That the Lords desire to know from this House, whether we shall be ready to give them a Conference this Morning, about the great Business : If we can, they will sit; if not, they will sit this Afternoon, if we shall be ready then to confer with them, to expedite this Business. The Place, the Painted Chamber : The Committees of both Houses.

Answer returned by the same Messengers; That we shall not be ready for a Conference this Morning, but will sit in the Afternoon, and go on with the Debate of the Business, wherewith we are now in hand; and, when we shall be ready, will send their Lordships Answer by Messengers of our own.
