A papal bull of 2 Dec. 1379 approved of the attachment of Kilsby to the precentorship to increase the revenues of the dignity (Lamb., Reg. Sudbury ff. 63b-64). Conf.
by Richard II of the arrangement 1 May 1379. Kilsby was from henceforth to count as
a preb. (CPR. 1377-1381 p. 354).

Robert Mason the precentor obtained preb. Farndon-cum-Balderton in 1483 and
vacated Kilsby. Stalworth coll. 17 Sept. 1483 (Reg. XXII f. 276). Neither he nor his
immediate successor was a precentor. Preb. of Leicester St. Margaret 1485.
