The Lord Hunsdon reported from the Committee, the
Ordinance for the King and Queen's Revenue in Yorkeshire to be employed for Maintenance of the Forces
there, as fit to pass, with a small Addition; which was
read, and Agreed to, with the said Addition.
Rowland and Perchard.
Ordered, That Rowland Defendant, wherein
Prichard is Plaintiff, upon an Appeal from a Proceeding
in the Isle of Guernsey, shall have Copies of the Records
transmitted hither.
Ordinance to unite the Militia of Westm. London, &c.
The Earl of Lyncolne reported from the Committee,
the Ordinance for joining the Militias of Westm. Southwarke, and Hamlets, as fit to pass, with a Proviso;
which Proviso was read.
And because it was alledged, "That divers Persons
were not put into this Ordinance which were in the
former, and have done very good Service to the
State, as George Manley Esquire, Colonel Taylor, Colonel Prince, and Major Crompton:" It is Ordered,
To be referred to the said Committee, to speak with
them, and know whether the leaving out their Names is
not with their Consent.
L. Petre not to be assessed for Horses in Essex.
Upon reading the Petition of Wm. Lord Petre;
shewing, "That there (fn. *) is a Charge of Three Horses
compleatly armed endeavoured to be put upon him
Personally in Essex; which he conceives is contrary to
his Privilege of a Peer:"
It is Ordered, That his Lordship shall have no
Charge of Horse or Arms imposed upon him, but (fn. *) by
the special Order and Direction of this House: And all
Committees and other Persons whom it concerns are to
take Notice hereof, and yield Obedience hereunto.
Message from the H. C. with an Ordinance; and to remind the Lords of the one for Sussex.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Peter Wentworth Knight, &c.
1. To put their Lordships in Mind of the Ordinance
concerning the County of Sussex.

Tuesday Morning next.
2. An Ordinance touching the Discharge of the
Treasurer of the County of Lyncolne of Eleven Hundred Pounds, taken out of the Treasury.

Keepership of Hyde Park.
Ordered, That the Grant to the Earl of Holland,
for the Keepership of Hyde Parke, shall be brought
into this House on Tuesday Morning next, or else an
authentic Copy of it.
Message to the H. C. with the Ordinance for the York Forces to have the King's Revenue there;-about Osborn's Leave:-and Roberts and Smith's Business.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Doctor Bennett and Mr. Page:
1. To deliver to them the Ordinance concerning the
King and Queen's Revenue in Yorkeshire to be employed
for maintaining the Forces in the North, with the Addition; and desire their Concurrence to the said Addition.
2. To put them in Mind that Mr. Osborne's Time for
staying here is expired; therefore to desire their Concurrence in the former Order sent down, for longer Stay
here.
3. To put them in Mind of the Business of James
Robertes and Suzan Smythe's.
Vote to authorize the L. Admiral to sight with the revolted Ships:
Next, the Vote was read again, giving Power to the
Lord Admiral to fight with the revolted Ships.
And the Question being put, "Whether this
Question shall be put, Whether this Vote
shall be committed or no?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Then the said Vote was read the Third Time.
And the Question being put, "Whether to agree
to this Vote?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Protest against it.
Memorandum, That, before the putting of the abovesaid Question, these Lords following desired Leave to
enter their Protestation, if the said Vote were carried
in the Affirmative: Which the House granted, and accordingly they do enter their Protestations, by subscribing their Names:

L. Bruce versus Butt & al. for a Riot in Gillingham Forest.
Upon hearing Counsel of the Lord Bruce, and Witnesses, to prove the Contempt of an Order of this
House, for quieting the Possession of the Lord Bruce,
in his Inclosed Grounds, in Gillingham Forrest, in the
County of Dorsett, and the violent breaking down of
the Fences, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament, by
John Phillips, John Reade, Thomas Greene Senior and
Thomas Greene Junior, and Thomas Butt:
It is Ordered, That Affidavit shall be brought into
this House, to prove, that when the Order was read
publicly in the Church, that these Persons were present at the Reading of it.
Ordinance for a Discharge for the Treasurers of Lincolnshire, 1100 l. taken by Force out of the Treasury.
"Whereas it was informed, That the Treasury at
Lincolne was broken open, by the Party that came
from Pontefract, and seized upon, and took away
Eleven Hundred Pounds out of the said Treasury,
of the Public Monies: Be it Ordered and Ordained, by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, That it be referred to the Committee at
Lincolne, to examine the Truth thereof; and what
the said Committee, or any Seven of them, shall
certify to be taken away out of the said Treasury by
the said Party shall be allowed unto the said Treasurer,
upon his Accompt, and he discharged thereof; and
that the Committee of Accompts, and all others
whom it may concern, shall allow thereof."
L. Admiral to sight with the revolted Ships.
"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled
in Parliament, That the Earl of Warwicke, Lord
High Admiral of England, be authorized and required
to fight with the revolted Ships, or any Person or
Persons, of any Condition or Quality soever, that
shall be upon the said Ships, or join with them, or
that shall any Way oppose the Power and Authority of
Parliament; and that it be referred to the Committee
at Derby House, to give him Directions accordingly."
Pugh to be instituted to Shrenham.
Ordered, That Doctor Bennett give Institution and
Induction to Hugh Pughe Clerk, Master of Arts, to the
Vicarage of Shrenham, alias Shrevenham, with the
Chapel of Lancott Watchefeild thereunto annexed, in
the County of Berks, void by the Death of the last
Incumbent; salvo Jure cujuscunque: Granted by the
Great Seal.
