The Ordinance for granting Power of Martial Law to
the Lord Admiral, was again read.

And ordered to be sent to the House of Commons,
for their Concurrence.
Message from the H. C. with Ordinances;-about Major Rolfe;-for the Revenue Committee to meet; and with Orders.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by Sir Rob't Pye Knight, &c.; who brought divers
Particulars, wherein they desire their Lordships Concurrence:
1. To put their Lordships in Mind of the long Imprisonment of Major Rolph.
2. To desire that the Lords that are of the Committee for the Revenue may meet this Afternoon, about
some Business of Importance.
3. An Order concerning the Judges going their Circuits.

Major Rolse's Business.
Ordered, That the Committee do meet this Afternoon, to consider of the Answer to the Matter of the
late Conference with the House of Commons concerning Major Rolph, and report the same on Monday.

the Votes concerning Judges going Circuits, their Lordships will take the same into Consideration, and send an

Chamberlain, Leave to come to London.
Ordered, That Mr. Chamberlaine shall have
Leave granted him to come from Oxford, to London,
about some urgent Occasions concerning his own Estate,
and to return to Oxford again; and the Concurrence of
the House of Commons to be desired therein.

Ordered, That any Two of the Judges may meet
concerning the Business of Morris, referred unto them.

Upon the Petition of Sir Wm. Button Knight and
Baronet read this Day in the House, concerning his
Composition for his Delinquency:
It is Ordered, That the said Petition and Contents thereof are hereby referred to the Committee for
the Articles of Oxon, for the Relief of the Petitioner
therein.
Additional Order concerning 500 l. ordered for victualing Garrisons.
"Ordered, by the Lords and Commons assembled
in Parliament, That the Order of the 18th Instant,
for Five Hundred Pounds for Garrisons, have a
Clause added, That the Monies be paid to such as
the Committee of Lords and Commons at Derby
House shall appoint to receive it; and that their Receipt for the same shall be a sufficient Discharge to
the Treasurers at Habberdash'rs Hall; and that the
same Monies be laid out by the Direction of the
said Committee."
