Ordered, That my Lady Fletcher's Son shall have a
Pass, to go into the Isle of Wight, with Four Servants.
English, Leave to carry Money to the E. of Kelley.
Ordered, That Mr. English shall have a Pass, to
go (fn. *) to the Earl of Kelley, to Shrewsberry, to carry him
some Money, he being in Want; the Sum to be Two
Coroden and Lewis, a Pass.
Ordered, That Peter Coroden, and John Lewis his
Man, shall have a Pass, to go to Cowes, in the Isle of
Col. Midhope and Foster.
Upon reading of the Affidavit of Colonel James Mydhope; complaining, "That, according to the Order of
this House, he repaired to the Bailiff of Westm. to
have his Horse delivered to him, having made an
Assignment to Foster to be paid his Eight Pounds
out of the First Arrear-money which he receives
from the State; but the said Bailiff hath delivered the
Horse out of his Custody to Foster, who refuses to
deliver the said Horse to the said Colonel:"
It is Ordered, That the said Foster shall forthwith,
upon Sight of this Order, deliver to Colonel Mydhope
the said Horse, he having made and tendered the Assignation.
Whitchurch, for arresting Daniel, L. Craven's Servant.
This Day Henry Daniell was brought to the (fn. †) Bar, by
a Habeas Corpus; which being read, it appeared that
he is in Execution for Five Hundred Pounds.
And it being objected, "That Anthony Whitchurch,
the Creditor, hath proceeded in the obtaining an
Execution against him, contrary to a former Order
of this House, giving Protection to the said Daniell,
as being a menial Servant to the Lord Craven;" therefore was moved, "That the said Whitchurch may answer his said Contempt to the Order of this House:"
It is Ordered, That this Business shall be taken further into Consideration To-morrow Fortnight, at which
Time the said Daniell shall be brought again; and the
said Whitchurch shall have Notice to appear at the same
Herbert and Whitaker, about printing L. Herbert's Works.
The Lord North reported, "That Mr. Herbert and
Mr. Whitakers are in some Sort agreed (fn. ‡) about the
Profit and Charge of the Printing and Selling the
History of H. VIII. made by the late Lord Edward
Herbert of Cherbery."
It is Ordered, That the said Mr. Herbert and Mr.
Whitaker shall proceed in the Printing of the same; and
that they take Care to print the same truly, perfectly,
and exactly, and in good Paper; and that the Profit
and Charge be equally divided.
Ordered, That Duppa's Cause shall be heard, by
Counsel, at this Bar, the Wednesday Sevennight after the
next Term; at which Time the Judges are to have
Notice to be present.
Ordinance to bring in Accompts of Sequestations.
An Ordinance was brought in, for the speedy bringing in of all Accompts for sequestered Lands and Estates,
&c.; which was read Once.
Hall to be instituted to Addington Magna.
Ordered, That Doctor Heath give Institution and
Induction unto Josiab Hall Clerk, to the Rectory of Addington Magna, in the County of North'ton, void by
Death; salvo Jure cujuscunque: Edmond Bacon Gentleman, Patron.
