Message from the H. C. that they have adjourned to Monday;

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Phillip Stapilton Knight, &c.

To let their Lordships know, that the House of Commons have adjourned their House till Monday Morning.

and to expedite the List of Sir Thomas Fairfax's Officers.

2. To desire their Lordships would give Expedition in the List of the Officers which are to be employed in the Army under Sir Tho. Fairefax.

Captain Stone sent for, concerning the Earl of Denbigh's Complaint.

The Lord General reported, "That he hath acquainted the Committee of both Kingdoms with the Affidavit concerning Captain Stone, Governor of Stafford; and the Committee declared, that they never heard he was sent for by this House, and gave him no Warrant not to come upon any Warrant of either House."

Hereupon this House Ordered, That the said Captain Stone shall be sent, notwithstanding any former (fn. 1) Order of this House to the contrary.

Adjourn.

House adjourned till 9a cras.
