I no. 248), 28 Apr. 1139 (ibid. no. 249), 9 Feb. 1146 (ibid. no. 251), 13 Apr. 1149 (ibid. no. 250), 6 June 1163 (ibid. no. 254); church not included in papal confs. of prebs. 6 Feb. 1146 (ibid. no. 252) and 5 June 1163 (ibid. no. 255), but tithes of bp.'s demesne conf. as preb., perhaps All Saints in Hungate (above list 16). His name suggests he may have held this preb., although Norton is a very common place-name.
