The Earl of Warwicke reported from the Committee,
the Letter to be sent to the Prince; which was read,
and approved of; and Ordered to be sent to the House
of Commons for their Concurrence.
Marquis of Winton's Allowance.
Ordered, To send to the House of Commons, that
the Allowance of Five Pounds a Week, formerly allowed to the Marquis of Winton, may be constantly paid
him, out of his Estate, for his Maintenance.
Fenton and Fitzakerley.
Ordered, That the Errors between Fenton and
Fitzacre' shall be argued, by Counsel on both Sides,
at the Bar, this Day Sevennight.
Sir W. Russell & al. and Lenthall & al.
Ordered, That the Cause between Sir Wm. Russell
and Lenthall and others shall be heard, at this Bar,
on Tuesday come Sevennight, by Counsel on both
Reparation for Words spoke by Sir J. Evelyn, at the Conference about disposing of the King's Person.
The House took into Consideration the Words
spoken Yesterday at the Conference by Sir John Evelyn.
And the Question being put, "Whether the
Words spoken by Sir John Evelyn were
against the Course and Proceedings of Parliament, and that this House doth expect Reparation for the same?"
And it was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Ordered, To have a Conference with the House
of Commons To-morrow Morning, about this Business.
Committee with the Scots Army may return.
Ordered, That the Commissioners of both Houses
that were appointed to reside with the Scotts Army
before Newark shall have Liberty to return from that
Service as soon as they shall see Cause.
