Caldecot to be instituted to Fovent.

Ordered, That Dr. Heath shall give Institution and Induction unto Mr. Randolph Caldecott, to the Parsonage of Fovent, in the County of Wilts, being void by the Death of Dr. Chafine; he producing his Presentation under the Hand and Seal of the Right Honourable the Earl of Pembrooke and Mountgom'y Patron; with a salvo Jure cujuscunque.

Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall sent for.

Ordered, That the Two Treasurers at Gouldsmiths Hall shall attend this House To-morrow Morning; (videlicet,) Michaell Herring and Rich'd Wareing.

Message to the H. C. about the following Particulars.

Dr. Heath was sent to the House of Commons, with a Message:

1. To put them in Mind of Boyle's Petition.

2. To desire their Concurrence in the Order touching Serjeant Wilde, that he may go as Judge in Oxon and Worcestersheir.

Folkingham's Order to be Vicar of Southweald;

Ordered, That (fn. 1) Mich. Folkingham be put into the Vicarage of the Parish Church of Southweale, in Com. Essex. Read, and passed; and to be sent to the House of Commons for Concurrence.

and Ellison, of Stamford Rivers.

Ordered, That Math. Ellison be put into the Rectory of Stamford Rivers, instead of Dr. Meredith. Read, and passed; and to be sent to the House of Commons for their Concurrence.

Ld. Mohun's Petition.

The Petition of the Lord Mohun; read, and committed to these Lords following:

Any Three, to meet when they please.

Ld. Mohun's Estate to remain as it is.

Upon reading of the Petition of Warwick Lord Mohun this Day in the House; the said Petition is committed to a Committee of this House: And it is Ordered, by the Lords in Parliament assembled, That the Estate of the said Lord Mohun, upon giving Security to answer what the Parliament shall think fit, shall remain and continue as now it is, until the Pleasure of the Houses of Parliament be further signified.

Read, and Approved.

Committees for Receipt of Monies to deliver in Accompts.

Ordered, by the Lords in Parliament assembled, That the Members of this House that are of the Committee for the King's, Queen's, and Prince's Revenue, the Committee sitting at Habberdashers Hall, and the Committee for the Army, do, with all convenient Speed, give this House an Accompt, what Monies have been received and paid forth since their sitting in the said Committees respectively.

E. of Cleveland to be released on his Parole.

Ordered, That the Earl of Cleeveland shall be released of his present Restraint, his Lordship passing his Honour to render himself a true Prisoner to the Lieutenant of The Tower of London within Fourteen Days next after he shall be so required by both Houses of Parliament; and the House of Commons Concurrence to be desired herein.

Serj. Glanvill to be bailed, if no further Charge is brought against him.

The verbal Charge of the House of Commons, of High Treason, against Serjeant Glanvill and others, dated the 22th of July, 1644, was read; and the Order of this House, dated 24 Julii, 1644, for his Commitment to The Tower of London, was read also.

And thereupon it is Resolved, That the said Mr. Serjeant Glanvill having lain in Prison Two Years without any such Charge, as he can, or hath been by the House of Commons desired to, answer unto; the Lords intend to bail him on Wednesday next, unless before that Time the House of Commons shall prosecute farther against him.

The House of Commons to be acquainted herewith.

Armerer, a Pass.

Ordered, That Mr. Armerer shall have a Pass, to go into Scotland, with his Servants.

Murray, a Pass.

Ordered, That Mr. Wm. Murray shall have a Pass, to Newcastle, with his Servants.

Message from the H. C. to expedite the Ordinance to continue the Treasurers at War, &c.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir John Danvers and others:

To desire the Lords to pass the Ordinance for the Continuance of the Treasurers at War.

Answer:

That the Lords will return Answer by Messengers of their own.

Ordered, That the whole House will consider of the said Ordinance To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock.

Wright's Ordinance.

Ordered, That the Committee for Nathan Wright's Ordinance for Five Thousand Pounds do meet To-morrow Morning.

Message to the H. C. about the E. cf Cleveland;

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Dr. Aylett, &c. with these Particulars following:

4. That the Lords have passed another Ordinance, for making Mathew Elliston Rector of the Parish Church of Stamford Rivers, in Com. Essex.

And desire likewise the House of Commons Concurrence therein.
