The House being informed, "That the Earl of
Berks is come to London;"
It is Ordered, That the Earl of Pembrooke, Earl of
Suffolke, Lord Robertes, and the Lord Howard, are to
examine his Lordship, concerning his coming out of the
King's Quarters, and his adhering to the Enemy, and
report the same to this House.
and the E. of Peterborough.
The House was also informed, "That the Earl of
Peterburgh is come to London."
It is Ordered, That the Earl of Pembrook, Earl of
Mulgrave, Lord Maynard, and the Lord Hunsden, shall
examine his Lordship, concerning his adhering to the
Enemy, and his coming out of the King's Quarters; and
report the same to this House.
Ayloff, a Pass to Holland.
Ordered, That Mr. Wm. Ayloffe, Cup-bearer to the
Queen of Bohemia, shall have a Pass, with his Servant,
and Two Horses, Custom-free, to pass into Holland; he
carrying with him no prohibited Goods.
Confession of Faith.
Next, was read the First Chapter of the Confession of
Faith, presented to this House from the Assembly.
And the First Chapter is Agreed to.
The Second Chapter was read Thrice, and Agreed to.
Then the House was adjourned into a Committee of
the whole House, to read the rest, and to take them
into Consideration;
And they were all read Once over.
The House was resumed.
Message from the H. C. with an Ordinance to suspend Privilege of Parliament;
A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by Mr. Pierrepont, &c.
That that House, taking into Consideration the Necessity of suspending the Privileges of the Members of
both Houses of Parliament, that their Lands may be
lyable to Debts, desire their Lordships to give Expedition
to the said Ordinance.
and with Two more.
2. To desire Concurrence in an Ordinance (fn. *) concerning Prisoners in The Tower, &c.
Read Once, and Ordered to be committed to a
Committee of the whole House; to be taken into
Consideration on Tuesday Morning next.
3. An Ordinance for taking off the Delinquency of
Courtney Poole, Wm. Croft, Ric'd Witty, Nic. Sumers, John
Lucas, and George Edmunds.

Message to the H. C. about L. Lisle going to Ireland;
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Sir Edw. Leech and Mr. Page:
1. To deliver to them the Report concerning the
Lord Lilse; and to let them know, that this House thinks
it fit to refer it to the Members of both Houses that are
of the Committee of both Kingdoms, to prepare Instructions, and present the same to this House; and their
Concurrence to be desired herein.
about Sir J. Bridges, &c. Sequestration;
2. To deliver to them the Report from the Committee
of both Kingdoms, concerning Sir John Bridges, &c.;
and to let them know, that this House thinks it fit
that the Sequestrations be taken off from the Estates
of all the Persons mentioned in the said Report.

3. To deliver to them the Ordinance concerning the
disabling of such as have been made Peers at Oxford,
with the Alteration made by this House, and to desire
Concurrence in the said Alteration.

have Thanks given them, for their Sermons preached
Yesterday before the Lords in the Abbey Church.
Ordinance to continue the Treasurers at War, &c.
Ordered, That the Earl of Lyncolne, and Lord
Wharton, shall report the Ordinance concerning the
Treasurers of the Army To-morrow Morning.
