29). Parson of Winscombe (Som.) 1230s (ibid. pp. 360, 361). Last occ. ? 27 Nov.
1245 (ibid. p. 123) and 10 Jan. 1246 (ibid. p. 129). The long time-span suggests
that he is prob. not to be identified with M. William of Keynsham, can. of
Chichester, who first occ. 1197 × c. 17 March 1204, and last occ. Oct. 1237 (as
tentatively suggested in 1 Fasti V 73).
Next identified preb. is M. John de Offord, who first occ. as can. 24 Sept. 1336;
also dean of Arches (Cal. I 237; and see 2 Fasti VIII 33).
