Footnotes

  • 1. A similar gr. made by Edward VI 23 Aug. 1552 to Sir Anthony Cooke and George Medele, esquire, in order that they might present 'Ralph Cavelarius' (C.P.R. 1550-3 p. 411) was presumably rendered ineffective by the accession of Mary.

Lawrence), is not otherwise known to have held a preb. of Canterbury, and there was probably some mistake in the coll.
