As the next entry refers to him as preb. of Woodhorn, the original entry concerning his instal. cannot have been registered. It must have been on or before 27 July when Robert Pory, preb. of Mardon, appointed Canon Walter Jones his proxy for instal. (Cap. 1/8/22; Cap. 1/9/21). Jones res. by 30 Sept. 1667 (Cap. 1/3/2 f. 42).
