PRAYERS.

Hospitals.

Ordered, That the Bill for Hospitals be delivered to Mr. Justice Barckley and Mr. Justice Crawley, to be amended, and be presented to the House afterwards, which was immediately done.

Lord Bishop of Sarum excused for being absent.

Queen's Jointure Bill

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for confirming the Queen's Jointure.

And, being put to the Question, it was consented unto, nemine contradicente.

Whereupon it was sent down to the House of Commons, by the Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas and the Lord Chief Baron, with a Recommendation from this House for Expedition.

The Judges returned this Answer:

That they had delivered the Bill, according to their Lordships Directions, with Recommendation for Expedition.

Mr Longuevile's Claim to the Barones of Hastings and Ruthin.

Ordered, That Mr. Longevile's Cause, being by Reference from His Majesty to this Honourable House, concerning his Claim to the Right and Dignity of Lord Hastings and Ruthin, shall be heard in open Court, with Counsel at the Bar on both Sides; and the Earl of Kente to have Notice of it, and to be ready against such Day as this House shall appoint To-morrow Morning, for the Hearing of the said Cause.

Witness in the E of Straffords Cause.

This Day the Lord Treasurer was sworn at the Clerk's Table, a Witness in the Case of the Earl of Strafford, the Lord Keeper reading the same Oath as was administered to the former Winesses, and gave his Lordship the same Intimation for Secrecy as to the rest.
