Veneris, 21 Aprilis

Duke of Buckingham.

SIR D. Digges, moveth for a Sub-committee, to consider of the State of the great Business now in hand ; and to reduce it into Form ; and to search for, and make use of, and apply, Precedents for it; and to present those Things to the House, with their Opinions. The Number to be Twelve, besides those, which have the Chairs at Committees. -

Mr. Wandesford, Mr. Whitby, Sir Jo. Ellyott, Mr. Herberte, Mr. Pymme, Sir Tho. Hobby, Sir D. Digges, Mr. Selden, Mr. Sherland, Sir W. Earle, Mr. Glanvyle, Sir Tho. Lake: This Committee to meet at One Clock this Afternoon, in Court of Wards; and then to adjourn themselves at their Pleasure.

Recusants.

The Committee, for presenting Recusants, enlarged, by appointing, that all, that will come, to have Voice.

The Knights and Burgesses of Kent, whose Presentments of Recusants are found defective, to be present at the said Committee; which is appointed to meet at Five of the Clock this Afternoon.

Sabaoth.

The Bill for the Sabaoth .....

Evils, Causes, and Remedies.

Mr. Wandesford reporteth from the Committee for Evils, Causes and Remedies, the Resolution of the Committee; viz. That the Duke the Cause of the Delivery of our Ships unto the French, which were employed against Rochell.

Proceedings against Duke of Buckingham.

Mr. Glanvyle moveth from the select Committee, this Day appointed, that they desire the House will resolve, against whether common Fame a Ground for this House to proceed upon; because it conduceth much to the Business now in hand: And that Notice hereof may be taken by the House, to be debated and resolved To-morrow Morning.

Upon Question, this resolved: And the Lawyers required to attend with the Precedents they have searched.
