Mrs. Leigh's Petition, to remain in her Place about the King's Children.
Ordered, That the Petition of Mrs. Eliz. Leigh,
desiring to continue in her Place about the King's Children at St. James, is referred to the Consideration of
the Committee concerning the Ordinance touching the
rectifying of the Servants about the King's Children.
And the Committee is to meet To-morrow Morning,
at Nine of the Clock, and to go and see the
King's Children in the Afternoon.
E. of Stamford desires Furniture for his Apartments.
The Earl of Stamford made it his Suit to this House,
That now their Lordships have been pleased to assign
him Lodgings in Whitehall, that their Lordships
would (in regard of his great Losses) recommend it
to the Committee of Sequestrations, that his Lordship may have assigned him some Household Stuff
for the Furnishing of his Lodgings, he being responsible to the State for the same:" Which this
House Ordered the same accordingly.
