E. of Clare, Leave to come to his House.

The Lord General acquainted this House, "That the Earl of Clare is come to St. Albans; and desired to know the Pleasure of the House how to dispose of him:" And it is Ordered, That he shall have Leave to come to his House in London, provided that he be forth-coming whensoever this House shall call for him; for which the Lord General undertook.

Lords not to be absent without Leave.

Ordered, That all the Lords shall have Notice to attend this House To-morrow Morning, and so from Sitting to Sitting, unless they have Leave of the House to be absent for a Season.

Abp. of Cant's Trial.

Next, this House proceeded to hear the Evidence against the Archbishop of Canterbury, concerning Prohibitions; and concerning the First Part of the Fourth (fn. *) Article of the First Charge, concerning his taking of Bribes.

Ordered, That the Archbishop shall make his Answer to this Evidence delivered now, at Three of the Clock this Afternoon.

Adjourn.

House adjourned till 3 a post meridiem.
