Doctor Aylett and Doctor Heath, sent Yesterday with
a Message to the House of Commons, return with this
Answer:
That concerning their Lordships Desire touching The
States Ambassadors, they do concur with their Lordships.
Concerning the Petition of the Lady Drake, they will
send an Answer by Messengers of their own.
Dr. Burges versus Parsons, for recting Testments on he Premises of the Deanry house of St. Pauls.
Upon reading the Petition of Doctor Cornelius Burges,
and the Affidavit of the Committee of Pauls, London;
complaining, "That one William Parsons, a Tenant to
the Dean of Paules, hath of late erected Two Tenements upon Part of the Mansion-house, and it appears
not (fn. *) what Leave or Title he hath so to do; and,
being often summoned to appear before the Committee at Paules, to shew his Lease, and to pay his
Rent for the same, he refuseth to appear, or pay any
Rent, and hath broken out new Holes for Windows,
to look into the Dean's Garden."
The House, (fn. *) taking this Business into Consideration,
Ordered, That the said William Parsons shall have a
Copy of the Petition; and, if he doth not conform himself according to the Desire of the Petition (fn. †) within Seven Days after Notice, that then he shall appear before this House, to answer the same.
Ordination of Ministers.
Ordered, That the Order for Ordination shall be
taken into Debate on Monday next; and that the Lords
that are in Town, and within the Power of the Parliament,
have Notice to attend this House on that Day; and then
this House will take into Consideration the making of
an Order for the better Attendance of the House.
Message to the H. C. with Mr. Uty's Ordinance.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Sir Rob't Rich and Mr. Page:
To desire their Concurrence in an Alteration in the
Ordinance concerning the presenting of Mr. Uty to
the Parsonage of Brabrooke, in the County of North'ton.
