Temple's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to empower the Barons of the Court of Exchequer in Ireland to grant a Commission to some Persons in Great Britain, to administer to Henry Temple Esquire the usual Oaths, for due Execution of the Office of Chief Remembrancer of the Court of Exchequer in Ireland."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall "pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Rogers and Mr. Holford:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Bridges versus Hitchcock, &c.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Shem Bridges Esquire, from a Decree of His Majesty's Court of Exchequer, made the Thirteenth Day of December 1714, in certain Causes there depending, between John Hitchcock, Thomas Wethered, and Walter Kent, Complainants, and the Appellant and Richard Holmes and Elizabeth Blunt, Defendants; and the Appellant Complainant, and the said John Hitchcock, Thomas Wethered, and Walter Kent, Defendants; praying, "That the said Decree may be reviewed and reversed:" As also upon the Answers of the said John Hitchcock and Thomas Wethered put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the said Decree therein complained of be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Wright & al. versus Ramsey.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Robert Wright Esquire, Gilbert Spearman Esquire, William Procter Esquire, and of Dame Jane Clavering Widow and Relict of Sir John Clavering Baronet, deceased, on Behalf of herself and James Clavering Baronet, Son and Heir of the said Sir John Clavering, an Infant, from several Orders of the Court of Chancery, and more especially from the Orders of the 26th of April and 30th of May last, so far as they concern and affect the Right and Interest of the Petitioners, or any of them; praying, That William Ramsey Esquire may answer the said Appeal, and shew Cause, if he can, why the said Orders, so far as they relate to the enjoining the Petitioners, or any of them, from making Use of a Waggon-way over Whickam Moore, alias Whickham West Fell, in the County of Durham, from Greenslaw Lane's-end unto Holling side Lands, as a Common Highway, shall not be set aside and discharged:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said William Ramsey may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Friday the Eighth Day of July next.

Morison versus Nisbet.

Whereas Monday next is appointed, for hearing the Cause wherein William Morison, of Preston Grange, Esquire, is Appellant, and William Nisbet, of Dirlton, Esquire, and others, are Respondents; the House being this Day moved, with the Consent of both Parties, That the said Hearing may be put off to some further Day:"

It is Ordered, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Adjourn.
