PRAYERS.

Ash admitted in Forma Pauperis.

Upon reading the Petition of Mary Ash, Widow and Relict of Jeremiah Ash, Respondent to the Appeal of Simeon Ash Clerk and Palatia Grout, Executors of the said Jeremiah Ash and Thomas Bodicoat; praying, "That she may be admitted to prosecute her Suit in this House in Forma Pauperis; that Mr. Spencer Cowper and Sir Robert Raymond may be assigned her Counsel, to attend, when her Cause shall come to be heard; that the Appellants may be ordered to pay unto her some Money, for Subsistance, and to enable her to carry on her Cause; and that this House will appoint a short Day for hearing the same:" As also upon reading an Affidavit of the Petitioner, "That she was admitted to prosecute her Suit, both in Chancery and at Common Law, in Forma Pauperis; and continues a Pauper:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner be admitted in Forma Pauperis, as desired; that this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday the Seventh Day of March next; and that the Counsel abovenamed be assigned her, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.

King to be attended with the Address.

The Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That the Lords with White Staves (according to Order) had waited on His Majesty, humbly to know His Majesty's Pleasure, when He would be attended by this House, with their Address; and that His Majesty was pleased to appoint this Afternoon, at Two a Clock, at His Palace of St. James's."

High Bailiff to be served with the Order against Stoppages in the Streets.

Notice being this Day taken, "That, notwithstanding the Order of this House, for preventing Stoppages in the Streets, constantly renewed every Session of Parliament, great Stoppages frequently happen, by reason the said Order is not duly executed:"

It is therefore Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the High Bailiff of the City of Westminster be served with the Order of this House, made Yesterday, for the Purpose aforesaid.
