Hamilton versus Beswell.
Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of George
Hamilton an Infant, and William Hamilton of Grange,
his Father, Tutor, and Administrator of the Law; complaining of an Interlocutor of the Lords of Session in
Scotland, made the 24th of June 1715, and that Part
of the Interlocutor of the 27th of July following,
finding Margaret Boswell's Enseoffment not being quarrelled in her Life-time was sufficient to support the Courtesy; and also of the Interlocutors of the said Lords,
of the 28th of July 1715, 15th of June and 4th of
July 1716, made on the Behalf of George Boswell, Brother to David Boswell of Balmutto, deceased; and praying Relief:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said George Boswell may
have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing,
on or before Friday the Nineteenth Day of April next.
Basket & al. versus Watson.
Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of John
Basket, His Majesty's Printer in London; William, Agnes,
and Elizabeth Hamilton, Grandchildren to the deceased
Andrew Anderson His Majesty's Printer, and Arcbbald
Campbell Husband to the said Agnes, and Patrick Alexander Husband to the said Elizabeth, for their Interests,
and Mr. John Campbell Printer in Edinburgh, His Majesty's Printers in Scotland; complaining of an Interlocutor of the Lord Grange, made the 8th of February
1715, and the Affirmance thereof by the Lords of
Session in Scotland the 17th of June 1715; and also of
several other Interlocutors, of the 21st of June 1716,
17th of July, 19th of July, 14th and 18th of December
following, made on the Behalf of James Watson Printer
in Edinburgh; and praying, "That the same may be
reversed:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said James Watson
may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is
hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in
Writing, on or before Friday the Nineteenth Day of
April next.

Upon reading the Petition of Charity Hele and Julyan
Hele Infants, by Sir Thomas Putt Baronet, and Dame
Julyan his Wife, Mother of the said Infants, their
Guardians; praying a further Time, to put in their
Answer to the Appeal of Isabella Bond Widow and
others; the said Guardians being in Devonshire; so
that the Time allowed for answering was elapsed,
before they could give Notice to their Agents in Town,
and receive an Answer thereto:
It is Ordered, That the Petitioners have hereby further Time allowed for answering the said Appeal, till
Friday the Twelfth Day of April next.
