PRAYERS.

Everard versus Aston.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Sir Redmond Everard Baronet; complaining of a Decree of the Court of Chancery in Ireland, made the Eleventh Day of February 1716, in a Cause wherein Elizabeth Aston was Plaintiff, and the Appellant and others were Defendants; and also of a Decree of the said Court, on re-hearing the said Cause, the Twentieth of May 1717; and praying, "That the same may be reversed, and the Appellant relieved:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Elizabeth Aston may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is hereby required to put in her Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Friday the Twenty-first Day of February next; and that the Service of this Order on the Respondent's Clerk in the said Court shall be good Service.

D. Devon's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for settling the Estates of the most Noble William Duke of Devonshire, and William Cavendish Esquire, commonly called Marquis of Hartington, Son and Heir Apparent of the said Duke, on the Marriage of the said Marquis of Hartington with Katherine Hoskins Spinster, only Child of John Hoskins Esquire, deceased."

L. Bathurst & al. Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for establishing the Disposition of the Personal Estate of Sir Benjamin Bathurst deceased, and the Settlement on his Three Sons under his Will; and exchanging Ground Rents in Wapping, in Midd'x, for another Rent of like Value; and other Purposes therein mentioned."

King's Answer to Address concerning Coin.

The Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That the Lords with White Staves (according to Order) had presented to His Majesty the Address of this House of Yesterday, "That He would be pleased to give Order, that Accompts might be laid before this House, touching the Coin and Balance of Trade;" and that His Majesty had been pleased to give Directions to the proper Officers, to lay the said Accompts before this House accordingly."

D. Kent's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Henry Duke of Kent, and Anthony Grey Esquire, commonly called Earl of Harold, to make Jointures for the Wife or Wives of the said Earl of Harold; and for other Purposes therein mentioned."

L. Carteret's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming the respective Sales of a Fee-farm Rent, and divers Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, in the County of Bedford, lately made by the Right Honourable John Lord Carteret and William Hillersdon Esquire to each other; and to discharge the same from divers Estates, Terms, and Trusts, to which they are respectively liable by several Settlements made thereof."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords Committees aforenamed.

Ayton versus Colvill.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of William Ayton Esquire; complaining of Two Interlocutory Sentences and Decrees of the Lords of Session in Scotland, on the Eighteenth of July 1710, and Eleventh of July 1716, made on the Behalf of Dame Margaret Colvill and Robert and Andrew Ayton; and praying, "That the same may be reversed:"

It is Ordered, That the said Margaret Colvill, and Robert and Andrew Ayton, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Friday the Fourteenth Day of February next.

Address for Sir I. Newton's Report concerning Coin.

Ordered, That an humble Address be presented to His Majesty, "That His Majesty will be pleased to give Order, that the Report of Sir Isaac Newton, bearing Date the Twenty-first of September last, made by him to the Commissioners of the Treasury, relating to the Coin, be laid before this House."

Ordered, That the said Address be presented to His Majesty by the Lords with White Staves.

Adjourn.
