This Day several Persons took the Oaths appointed, in order to their Naturalization.

Burk versus Morgan, in Error:

After hearing Counsel, as well on Wednesday last as this Day, to argue the Errors assigned upon a Writ of Error brought into this House the Sixteenth Day of April last, wherein Rickard Burk is Plaintiff, and Rich'd Morgan, Lessee of Henry Blake, Defendant, in order to reverse a Judgement in Ejectment, given in the Court of Exchequer in Ireland, upon a special Verdict, and affirmed in the Exchequer Chamber there; and due Consideration having been had of what was offered on either Side thereupon:

Judgement affirmed, with Costs.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Judgement given in the said Court of Exchequer, and the Affirmance thereof in the Exchequer Chamber, be, and are hereby, affirmed; and that the said Writ of Error, with the Transcript of the Record, be remitted to the said Court of Exchequer in Ireland, to the End the said Richard Morgan may have Execution of the said Judgement as if no such Writ of Error had been brought into this House: And it is hereby further Ordered, That the said Plaintiff in Error do pay, or cause to be paid, to the said Defendant in Error, the Sum of Forty Pounds, for his Costs in this House.

Coin and Plate Committee revived:

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Committee appointed to prepare Heads for a Bill, in relation to the Coin of this Kingdom and the Standard of Silver Plate, be revived; and meet on Monday Morning next.

State of the Coin.

Ordered, That this House be, on Tuesday next, put into a Committee of the whole House, to take into further Consideration the State of the Coin of this Kingdom.

D. of Newcastle's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Esher Waterville, and other Lands therein mentioned, in the most Noble Thomas Holles Duke of Newcastle and his Heirs, in Consideration of Rent-charges to be issuing out of the same, and other Lands, in Lieu thereof, to the Use of the Corporation of Kingston upon Thames, in the County of Surrey, in Trust for the Poor of the said Town."

Brown, to enter into a Recognizance for Preston.

The House being moved, "That Bruno Brown, of the Parish of St. Clement's Danes, Esquire, may be permitted to enter into a Recognizance for Mary Preston and her Son, on Account of their Appeal depending in this House; they being in Ireland:"

It is Ordered, That the said Bruno Brown may enter into a Recognizance for the said Appellants accordingly.

Birmingham & al. admitted in Forma Pauperis.

Upon reading the Petition of Edward Bermingham, William Augustin, and John Cully; setting forth, "That they were admitted, by the Court of Exchequer in Ireland (from whence they have appealed to this House), to prosecute their Suit in Forma Pauperis; and that they still continue in the same poor Condition;" and praying, "That this House will admit them as Paupers before their Lordships:" As also upon reading an Affidavit of the Petitioners, verifying the Allegations of the said Petition:

It is Ordered, That the Petitioners be admitted to prosecute their Appeal in Forma Pauperis in this House, as desired.
