PRAYERS.

Hamilton versus Boswell:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of George Hamilton an Infant, and William Hamilton of Grange, his Father, Tutor, and Administrator of the Law; complaining of an Interlocutor of the Lords of Session in Scotland, made the 24th of June 1715; and of that Part of the Interlocutor of the 27th of July following, finding Marg't Boswell's Infeoffment not being quarrelled in her Life-time, was sufficient to support the Courtesy; and also of the Interlocutors of the said Lords, of the 28th of July 1715, the 15th of June, 4th and 20th of July 1716, made on the Behalf of George Boswell Brother to David Boswell of Balmutto, deceased; and praying Relief: As also upon the Answer of the said George Boswell put in to the said Appeal; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the several Interlocutors therein complained of be, and are hereby, affirmed.

D. Newcastle's Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Esher Waterville, and other Lands therein mentioned, in the most Noble Thomas Holles Duke of Newcastle and his Heirs, in Consideration of Rent charges to be issuing out of the same, and other Lands, in Lieu thereof, to the Use of the Corporation of Kingston upon Thames, in the County of Surrey, in Trust for the Poor of the said Town."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Sir G. Downing's Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for making more effectual certain Articles of Agreement, between Sir George Downing Baronet, and Dame Mary Eldest Daughter of Sir William Forester Knight, and her Trustees."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Messages to H.C. with the Two preceding Bills.

And Messages were severally sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Gery and Mr. Rogers:

To carry down the said Bills, and desire their Concurrence to them.

E. of Kildare's Bill.

The Earl of Clarendon reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of Part of the Estate of John late Earl of Kildare, deceased, towards Payment of his Debts, and for other the Purposes therein mentioned," was committed: "That they had considered the same, and found the Allegations thereof to be true; and that the Parties concerned had given their Consents; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Ordered, That the Bill be engrossed.

Further Powers to Committee for Coin.

Ordered, That the Lords Committees appointed to prepare Heads for a Bill to prevent the melting down the Coins of this Kingdom be, and are hereby, empowered to consider of any further Methods for preventing the melting down the said Coins; and report the same to the House.

Bullion for Sword-blade Company entered for Exportation.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of the Customs do lay before this House an Account of what Bullion, either Gold or Silver, has been entered for Exportation, on account of the Sword-blade Company, for Five Years last past.

Adjourn.
