Whitehall's Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable John Whitehall to charge certain Lands with the Sum of Fifteen hundred Pounds, towards Portions for his younger Children, was read a Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Waller, Mr. Dyot, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Stanley, Mr. Clark, Mr. How, Mr. Shackerly, Lord Cornbury, Sir Hen. Goff, Mr. Goldwell, Mr. Trenchard, Mr. Bromley, Mr. Nicholas, Mr. Christy, Mr. Hawtry, Sir Robert Edon, Mr. Slater, Sir Tho. Haslerigg, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Tredenham, Mr. Lampton, Mr. Lutterell, Sir John Banks, Sir Fra. Defaulters at Call of the House.

The House being informed, That Sir Henry Fane's Absence Yesterday, when the House was called over, was occasioned by his being very ill of the Gout in Town;

Ordered, That the said Sir Henry Fane be excused for his Absence Yesterday: And that the Order for sending for him in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms be discharged.

Barrington's Estate.

Special Bails.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, for settling the Method of taking Special Bails in the Court of King's-Bench; and for the Filing, Entering, and Docquetting, all such Bails in the several Courts of Law at Westminster.

Wool-combers, &c. Trade.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee, to whom the Examination and Consideration of the Petition of the Wool-combers, and Traders in the Woollen Manufacture, in the Counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridge, and Isle of Ely, was referred, be made Tomorrow Morning.

Preventing Export of Wool, &c.

A Bill for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool, Fulling and Scouring Earth, by altering the Penalty; and for the better Regulating of the Factors in Blackwell-Hall; was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed, upon the Debate of the House, to Sir John Guise, Sir Math. Andrews, Captain Reynolds, Sir Tho. Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir William Thomas have Leave to go into the Country, for Recovery of his Health.

Raising Militia.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for the raising the Militia of this Kingdom, for the Year 1694; although the Month's Pay, formerly advanced, be not repaid: And that Sir William Cooper do prepare and bring in the same.

Lord Falkland's Examination by Commissioners of Accounts, &c.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the Information given, upon Oath by the Lord Falkland to the Commissioners for stating the publick Accounts; and also, of the Account of the Pensions, Salaries, and Sums of Money, paid or payable to Members of Parliament out of the publick Revenue, or otherwise; and also, of the Account of what Monies have been issued and paid for secret Service, and to Members of Parliament; presented to the House by the said Commissioners; be adjourned until Friday Morning next.

Ways and Means.

The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year One thousand Six hundred Ninety-four.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Tho. Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had made a further Progress in the Matter to them referred; and had directed him to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning at Eleven a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and the Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year 1694.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
