Prayers.

Preventing Export of Wool.

A PETITON of divers Gentlemen and Clothiers of the County of Gloucester was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, that the Calamities of the poor Labourers in the Woollen Manufactories are so pressing, through low Wages ill paid, and want of Employment, that unless some speedy Care be taken, many Hundreds of poor People are in Danger of being starved: That the Sale of Cloth is become so very hazardous, through a long Credit given to Buyers, that no considerate Person can be easy in so great a Hazard of his Estate: And praying, That some better Provision may be made to prevent the Exportation of Wool, and to maintain the publick Market of the Woollen Manufactures at Blackwell-hall; and that those Merchandizes may be preserved in the Hands of English Merchants.

Ordered, That the Examination and Consideration of the said Petition be referred to a Committee: And that they do report their Opinion therein to the House.

Mompesson, Mr. Morris: And all that come are to have Voices: And they are to meet on Monday next, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And are impowered to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Debts against Minors.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for the better Recovery of Debts against Heirs under Age: And that a Committee be appointed to prepare and bring in the said Bill:

And it is referred to Mr. Christy, Mr. Solicitor-General, Sir Tho. Clarges, Mr. Fawkes, Colonel Titus, Mr. Lutterell, Sir Tho. Dyke, Mr. Burrington, Mr. Harcourt, Mr. Sandford, Mr. Travers, Mr. Hawtry, Mr. Wilmot, Mr. Ash, Mr. Palmes, Mr. Pollexfen, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Stokes, Mr. England, Mr. Clark, Sir Wm. Wogan, Sir Sam. Registry of Deeds, &c.

Ordered, That the Bill for registring Memorials of Deeds, Conveyances, and Wills, be read a Second time upon Friday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.

Parliamentary Privileges.

Resolved, That this House will, upon this Day Sevennight, consider of the Privileges of this House; and also of all privileged Places.

Supply.

The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on the War against France with Vigour.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had considered of the Matter to them referred, and come to a Resolution; which they had directed him to report, when the House would please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the Report be made upon Tuesday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight a Clock.
