Prayers.

Rutland Writ.

ORDERED, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for the Electing of a Knight to serve in this present Parliament for the County of Rutland, in the room of Sir Thomas Mackworth Baronet, deceased.

Tryals in Lancashire, &c.

Mr. Parsons, Mr. Parkinson, and Mr. Dickenson, attending according to Order, were severally called in; and examined, touching the late Tryals in Lancashire and Cheshire.

And then withdrew.

The House being informed, That one Mr. Allanson attended;

He was called in; and examined.

And then withdrew.

Mr. Baker was also again called in; and examined.

And then withdrew.

Mr. Kitson, and Mr. Coachman, Messengers in Ordinary, attending, according to Order, were severally called in; and examined; and delivered in to the House such Warrants as they were directed by the House to bring with them.

And then withdrew.

And the Warrants were read.

Mr. Newberry, Mr. Cooper, and Mr. Adams, attending according to Order, were severally called in; and examined.

And then withdrew.

Ordered, That the further Examination and Consideration of the Matter, touching the late Tryals in Lancashire and Cheshire be adjourned until To-morrow Morning, Ten a Clock: And that all such Persons as were ordered to attend this House this Day; and also Mr. Vernon; do attend this House To-morrow Morning.

And then the House adjourned until To-morrow Morning, Eight a Clock.
