THE Parliament being prorogued to this Day; and the House being met;

A Message was delivered by Sir Fleetwood Shepherd, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod:

Mr. Speaker,

The Lords, authorized by virtue of his Majesty's Commission, desire the immediate Attendance of this Honourable House in the House of Peers, to hear the said Commission read.

Accordingly, Mr. Speaker, with the House, went up to the House of Peers: Where the said Commission was read, for the proroguing of this Parliament until Tuesday the 30th Day of July next.

And the Parliament was prorogued accordingly.
