Leigh's Estate.

SIR Henry Hobart, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill to enable Edward Leigh Esquire, and Jane his Wife, and their Trustees, to sell the Manors of Waxham and Horsey, and certain Lands and Tenements in Norfolk; and to purchase and settle other Lands to the same Uses: And the same was received.

The Bill was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Rygate, &c. Roads.

Sir Richard Onslow, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for repairing and amending the Lane called Horshill, leading from Rygate to Hookwood Common, and a Lane called Bonehurst, in the Parish of Horley, in the County of Surrey: And the same was received.

The Bill was read the First Time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Philip Butler have Leave to go into the Country for a Week, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Ordered, That Sir William Morley have Leave to go into the Country, for Recovery of his Health.

Ordered, That Mr. Henry Neal have Leave to go into the Country, his Lady being very ill.

Ordered, That Sir Ralph Dutton have Leave to go into the Country, for Recovery of his Health.

Securing Debts.

Sir William St. Quintin, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for the better Securing of Debts, and Establishing of Credit: And the same was received.

Highways.

Mr. Archer, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill to enlarge Highways: And the same was received.

Mitchell Election.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Borough of Mitchell, in the County of Cornwall, be made upon this Day Sevennight.

Aldborough Writ.

Ordered, That the Debate upon the Motion, made upon Wednesday last, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for the electing a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Aldborough, in the County of York, in the room of Sir Michaell Wentworth, deceased, be further adjourned until Saturday Morning next.

Supply.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Friday Morning next, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Supply to be granted to his Majesty, for making good the Deficiency of Parliamentary Funds; and to consider further of that Part of his Majesty's Speech, which relates to the Credit of the Nation.

Tavistock Election.

Ordered, That the Report, from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Borough of Tavistock, in the County of Devon, be made upon this Day Sevennight.

Supply Bill; Land-Tax.

The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Bill for granting to his Majesty an Aid, as well by a Land-Tax, as by several Subsidies, and other Duties, payable for One Year.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had gone through the Bill, and made several Amendments; and directed him to report the same to the House, when the House will please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the Report be made To-morrow Morning.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
