AN ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the enabling the surviving Trustees of Sir William Pulteney Knight, deceased, to make Leases for the raising Monies for Payment of his Son William Pulteney's Debts, and other Purposes therein mentioned, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments, do pass.

Ordered, That Mr. Lowther do carry the Bill to the Lords, and acquaint them, That this House hath agreed to the same, with some Amendments: To which they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Abuses in King's Bench and Fleet Prisons.

Imprisonment of Counter, &c.

The Lords have agreed to the Bill, intituled, An Act for the continuing the Imprisonment of * Counter, and others, for the late horrid Conspiracy to assassinate the Person of his Sacred Majesty, without any Amendments. Also,

Bull's Estate.

The Lords have agreed to the Amendment, made by this House, to the Bill, intituled, An Act to enable John Bull, an Infant, to sell his Lands, in Kent, for the Payment of his Debts, and Annuities, charged thereon; and for Provision of younger Children. Also,

Lords desire a Conference.

The Lords do desire a Conference with this House, upon the Subject-matter of the last Conference; and do appoint it To-morrow at One of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

Resolved, That this House doth agree to a Conference with the Lords, as their Lordships do desire.

And the Messengers were called in again; and Mr. Speaker acquainted them therewith.

Mr. Lowndes, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for laying further Duties upon Sweets; and for lessening and settling the Duties as well upon Vinegar, as upon low Wines drawn from certain Materials, and the Duties upon Brandy imported; and for the more easy raising the Duties upon Leather; and for Charging of Cinders; and the same was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time, Tomorrow Morning.

Supply Bill; Salt Duties.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for the full and effectual charging the Duties upon Rock Salt.
