Sir Geo. Moore beginneth, touching the Union. - King of England, King of a free People. The Cause concerneth our Liberty. - _

Speeches carried, or miscarried, to his Majesty. -

Qui in ore laudat, in corde flagellat: Therefore he would not commend Sir Edw. Sandys. -

Never any Message sent by any, or by Mr. Speaker, in such a Case. -

Remembereth the Case of Piggott. - We had the Punishment and Release left unto us. -

To consider of some fit Speech, at the End of this Session, touching this Matter.

Mr. Speaker remembereth Mr. Lewknor's Project, in Three Parts, as in the Day before. -

Two first his Majesty hath taken Notice: - Whensoever you shall make Petitions, to entertain -

His Majesty marvelleth, they should be jealous of him in that: He will be as ready to maintain their Privileges as themselves : He taketh it a Part of his own Honour : Should not think him worthy of his Place, that should not speak freely what he thought, in the Matter in hand, so it were bounded with Modesty and Discretion.

Union with Scotland.

Mr. Fuller: - Offer another Title to the Bill. - Matter of Passage into Scotland. - The Law wholly to be taken away, and Provision for Treasure. -
