King's Speech.

ORDERED, A Committee of the whole House, to consider what fit to be done by the House, in the Matters propounded Yesterday by his Majesty, and by the Lord Keeper in his Presence. And this grand Committee to have Power to call for the Key, to keep any from going out from the Committee, without Leave.

Upon Question, no Proceedings, either in the House, or at any Committee, till this grand Committee have resolved of the Business for which now they sit.

The House turned into a grand Committee, the Speaker sitting by.

The Speaker took his Chair again.

Explanation of King's Speech, &c.

Mr. Justice Yelverton and. . bring from the Lords a Message ; that the Lords desire a present Meeting of a Committee of both Houses; because some Lords there have Power, from his Majesty, to make Explanation of some Things passed Yesterday, both in his Majesty's Speech, and the Lord Keeper's.

The Messengers naming no Place for the Conference, the Messengers called in again, to know whether they have Warrant to name any Place.

They answer, the Place desired, is the Painted Chamber.

Resolved, To yield to this present Meeting: And, the Messengers called, so much delivered to them by Mr. Speaker.

Sir D. Digges, Mr. Whitby, Mr. Pymme, Mr. Herberte, Mr. Noy, Mr. Wandesford, to make the Report back.

The grand Committee of the whole House returning from the Committee of the whole House of the Lords, the Reporters, in respect of the Length and Weight of the Report, desire Time To-morrow Morning, Nine Clock.
