PRAYERS.

Securing Papists.

MR. Serjeant Wilde presents, from the Committee, the Names of such Papists as the Committee thought fit to have secured: The which Names were read; and upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent up to the Lords.

Proceedings coneerning Beale.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Nicholas Beale, Haberdasher of London, shall come in to the Bar as a Delinquent.

Ordered, That Kellet, nor any Man else, be suffered to speak with Beale.

Ordered, That H. Beale, and Kellett in Bishoppsgatestreet, be forthwith summoned to attend this House.

Ordered, That Nich. Beale shall be taken into the Serjeant's Custody; and be sent with the Serjeant's Man to fetch the Petitions and Queries: And that he shall assist the Serjeant's Man in the Finding out Mr. H. Beale.

French Ambassador.

The Declaration concerning the French Ambassador read.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Declaration shall be printed.

Duke of Florrence's Agent.

Ordered, That the Committee concerning Seignior Americo, Agent for the Duke of Florrence, be revived: And are to meet on Monday Morning at Eight of the Clock: And That Committee hath further Power to examine such Matters, as shall be offered in Charge against the said Agent.

Proceedings concerning Phillips.

A Message from the Lords, by Serjeant Ayloffe and Serjeant Finch:

Robert Phillips the Priest that was committed by the Lords for an Offence committed before them, has petitioned their Lordships, and submitted himself, and so far acknowledgeth his Offence, that their Lordships are inclined to forgive it: But, because of the Engagement to this House, not to deliver him, till this House was made acquainted with it; so they have now thought good to acquaint this House therewith.

A Message to be sent to the Lords, To desire that they will forbear to release Robert Phillips, till they hear from this *

M. Mountsiccott.

Ordered, That the Knights and Citizens, that serve for the City of London, do repair to the Lord Mayor; and to require him, from this House, to give Account what is become of Monsieur Mountsiccott, who was apprehended and brought before him: And Monsieur Lassala, and Monsieur Mathew, are required to attend the Lord Mayor, for his further Information herein, if he shall see Cause for it: And, if the said Monsieur Mounsiccott be in Custody, that he do still continue so till this House take further Order.

Securing Papists.

Sir Hen. Vaine is to go to the Lords with this Message; To acquaint the Lords, that this House hath sent the Names of such Papists, and dangerous Persons affected to Popery: and to desire the Lords to join with this House in the Securing of their Persons.

Conference.

A Message from the Lords, by Serjeant Ayloffe and Serjeant Finch;

The Lords desire a Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, in the Painted Chamber, as soon as may be, if it may stand with the Conveniency of this House, concerning Letters read in That House, touching the Affairs of that Kingdom.

House to return.

Ordered, That the House shall return so soon as the Conference shall be ended.-

Conference.

Answer returned, by the same Messengers; that this House has taken their Lordships Message into Consideration; and will give a present Meeting, as is desired.

Mr. Hollis, Mr. Hide, Lord Falkland, Sir Wm. Armyn, are appointed Reporters of this Conference.

Proceedings concerning Phillips.

Sir Tho. Barrington brings Answer, the Lords will not release Ro. Phillips the Priest, till they have farther heard from this House.

State of the Kingdom.

The ingrossed Declaration of the State of the Kingdom was now read.

Resolved, That this House do take into Debate the Declaration, now read, on Monday next at Twelve of the Clock.

Proceedings concerning Beale.

Mr. Nich. Beale was called to the Bar; and there delivered a Petition, and another Paper of divers Queries.

And it is Resolved, upon the Question, That he should still continue in the Serjeant's Custody; and that no Man should be suffered to speak with him, till he be examined by the House, but in the Presence and Hearing of the Serjeant, or his Deputy.

Person to attend.

Ordered, That * Kellett be required to attend the House on Monday Morning.
